What was the highlight of Hotel Bonavento
I would not stay here again and would not recommend it at all.
Amazing location within 5 minutes walk of beach, supermarket and gorgeous restaurants. Even when water was turned off and out room was flooded by the works they were carrying out,they were quick to swap our rooms. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.
First of all - at check in, we were nearly charged double the price of the room. Had I not had the booking.com app (which works offline wonderfully!!) To be able to show him the price, he may have charged us whatever random numbers he typed in on his is calculator. Was advertised as a hotel but upon arrival its actually a hostel, confusing our taxi driver and ended up in us walking around for 30 mins. Despite having 3 Wifi routers, none of them reached our rooms properly, if at all. The showers were appalling. Literally just a pipe coming out of the wall, with no temperature control whatsoever. After they flooded our first room, we were 'upgraded' to what I suspect should have been our room all along which had an actual shower head and fit the description of a small double room that we had paid for. Rooms are very basic and bare with minimal essentials. No towels provided, watered down liquid hand soap and holes and stains in bedding.
